Today we made an amazing discovery while trying to make honey mustard, except… there’s wasn’t any honey in the house. So I made a yogurt and mango based version of the condiment. Here’s how you make it:
- 1 1/2 cups yellow mustard
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp mango nectar/juice
- 2 tbsp cane sugar
- 1 tsp heavy cream powder
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- Mix mustard, yogurt, and nectar in a bowl together. If needed, add more mustard or nectar.
- Add in minced garlic.
- Stir in 1 tbsp cane sugar and the heavy cream powder. Mix quickly to avoid clumping
- Add the rest of the sugar and mix thoroughly
- Add fresh mint or thyme as garnish (optional)
And now, enjoy your newly made mango garlic mustard!
